Indian opener Rohit Sharma posted a photo of himself on Instagram with a cheeky comment on the pitch on offer for the fourth and final Test match between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The third Test, which was a day/night affair, finished inside two days as England was bowled out for 112 and 81. The pitch was blamed for it more than the English batsmen's techniques. As a result, many Indian experts, former cricketers, and current Team India players were seen expressing their views about the pitch.
While some of them were seen putting forward their views during press conferences, some of them were seen doing it on social media. Interestingly, Rohit Sharma has done it both.
Rohit had earlier talked about the pitch for the second Test match as well, before the start of the third Test in Ahmedabad. Rohit Sharma is currently the highest run-getter in the ongoing Test series for India, with 296 runs in 6 innings. The fourth Test between India and England starts on Thursday, March 4.
On Sunday, February 28, Rohit posted a picture of himself lying on the ground on his Instagram handle. What was more interesting was the caption written along with it. He wrote, "Wondering what the pitch would be like for 4th test"
