Currently, India is playing the Test series against England and their third match was at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Gujarat is a dry state and it gave scope for memes related to Shastri. Even journalist Shobha De found a hilarious meme and shared it on her Twitter account.

The day-night Test ended in just two days and the meme read, "you thought I would stay in a dry state for five days?".

Shastri, to everyone's surprise, responded to the tweet. He was happy to put a smile on people's faces in this tough time. "Love the banter ! Feels good to bring some smiles in these tough times," wrote the India coach.

India and England will lock horns for the last Test at the same venue. The hosts are currently 2-1 up in the four-match series.
