Bengal cricketer Manoj Tiwary has shared a fielding placement plan for India to trap the England captain Joe Root in the next Test match at Chennai.
Root is currently in outstanding form and he scored a double hundred in last match, which was his career's 100th Test match. The score of 218 in the first Test was his third consecutive hundred; after 228 and 186 against Sri Lanka recently.
India failed to get Root out cheaply in the first innings which costed them the match. England went on to score a mammoth total of 578 and bowled India out on 337 to take a lead of 241 runs. Eventually, the visitors won the match by 227 runs.

Tiwary has tweeted a field placement plan for Root with 7 fielders on the leg side and 2 on the offside. The English captain prefers to sweep the ball against the spinners and the field placement is to make him play against the spin off Washington Sundar and R Ashwin.
"Since Joe Root is in red hot form with the bat. I have chalked out a field placement play for Ashwin and Washington if it might help. This plan is only for spinning friendly pitches. 7/2 on the on side with no slip catcher. Zoom in the picture guys for detailed reasoning. #INDvsENG", he tweeted.
India and England will lock horns for the second Test at Chennai on February 13.
