England coach Chris Silverwood is happy with fans being allowed inside the MA Chidambaram Stadium for the second Test in Chennai, which begins from February 13, and has no concerns with respect to bio-bubble safety.

The England cricket team arrived in India after completing a 2-match Test series in Sri Lanka and quarantined for a week before beginning practice. The first Test went well and the England squad is happy with the arrangements made for them in the bio-secure bubble.

The second Test match between India and England will be the first international match in India since close to 12 months.

IND v ENG 2021: "Confidence will go through the roof if we beat India"- England coach Silverwood

Chris Silverwood said in a virtual press conference, "I'm not concerned about the bubble aspect. They have been brilliant and we all feel safe. And from the crowd point of view, we will be having noise in the ground again and it will be fantastic."

"I mean if we get anything like that, like some sort of normality, it will make everything just a bit more buzz really and I think it will great. We have got no concerns (on fans being allowed for the 2nd Test). Since we been here, we have been very well looked after and we feel safe in the environment," he added.

Even England pacer James Anderson had said it would be a great sight to play in front of the crowd in the second game.

"The safety around the bubble in the hotel is so strict and I am sure they will take all the right precautions. They are gearing up for the fans to come in which would be great and we look forward to that," Anderson had said after the first Test.

England won the first Test against India by a huge margin of 227 runs and will be eyeing a similar effort with the second Test being played at the same venue from Saturday, February 13.
