IND v ENG 2021: WATCH – Ben Stokes plucks a stunner in the slip cordon to dismiss Jasprit Bumrah

Stokes dived to his right to complete a stunning reflex catch.

The southpaw smashed 82 off 118 balls to propel the visitors to a massive first innings score of 578. While Stokes couldn’t get a wicket in India’s first essay, he made a significant contribution with his fielding.

During the 96th over of India’s innings, Stokes plucked a brilliant one-handed catch in the slip cordon to remove Jasprit Bumrah for a duck.

Bumrah couldn't keep his bat away while facing a James Anderson delivery which was moving away from him. Stokes, who was stationed at the first slip region, dived to his right and grabbed a stunning reflex catch to end India's first innings on 337.

Despite taking a huge lead of 241 runs, England didn’t enforce the follow-on. The tourists are now looking to set an improbable target for India in the fourth innings.
