A video of India cricketer Mohammed Siraj grabbing his teammate Kuldeep Yadav by the neck is going viral on social media. The incident is from the first day's play in the opening Test between India and England.
As seen in the five-second clip, Siraj harmlessly grabs Kuldeep's neck and starts talking. While few fans thought there's something wrong between the two cricketers and termed the moment a 'fight', the rest were sure they are good friends and it was all in a friendly way.
The video gives a wrong impression because of Kuldeep's shock when Siraj grabs his neck. However, it's something usual among the friends and the negative reaction to it seems unnecessary.
Both Kuldeep and Siraj are not playing in the first Test. The return of Ishant Sharma has kept Siraj out of the team, though he was a star performer on the recent Australia tour despite no experience of Test cricket.
Talking about the left-arm unorthodox spinner, Kuldeep has been out of the Test-playing XI for a while now. He was supposed to play the first Test but Team India preferred Shahbaz Nadeem and Washington Sundar along with the regular spinner R Ashwin.
