India cricket captain Virat Kohli got engaged in a chat with England skipper Joe Root in the first Test at Chennai. Root, who is playing his 100th Test, had a friendly interaction during the 34th over of their innings after lunch.
England decided to bat on a seemingly easy pitch after winning the toss. They started off well with a sensible partnership between Rory Burns and Dom Sibley. But England lost two quick wickets on the score of 63 runs.
Root had to walk out to bat before lunch and negotiate few balls. The incident happened in the second session during the 34th over bowled by Ishant Sharma.
