A Virat Kohli fan grabbed attention because of his pitch invasion during day three of the first Test between India and Bangladesh at Indore. The fan, who had VK painted on his upper body, jumped over the fence from the crowd. He then ran towards the players, before passing through the umpires, and met his idol.
Players were walking in for the start of day three when the incident happened on Saturday. The umpires on the field didn't get affected when they saw someone running towards them. They have seen enough of this in recent times, especially in India.
When the fan reached Kohli, Ishant Sharma tried to have some fun before the guy fell on the feet of Virat. The Indian captain made sure the security guards don't harm him. He told them to stay aside as he had a chat with him.
As per PTI reports, the fan was detained by the police. He is 22-year-old, named Suraj Bisht, from Uttarakhand and works in Indore as a cook.
