He may not be part of India’s playing XI for the ongoing fourth Test between India and Australia in Ahmedabad, but Ishan Kishan still caught everyone’s attention for a hilarious moment he shared with skipper Rohit Sharma.

On Day 1 of the Test match, Kishan came to the field as a water boy for the home team. On his way back to the dressing room, the wicketkeeper-batter dropped one of the water bottles on the pitch and the reaction from Rohit went viral on the internet.

The Indian captain jokingly threatened to hit Ishan Kishan for his action while the latter quickly ran away from the pitch.

Coming to the match, Australia posted 255/4 on the board at the close of play on Day 1. Opener Usman Khawaja starred with the bat as he stayed unbeaten on 104 while all-rounder Cameron Green finished the day on 49 not out.

For India, Mohammad Shami (2-65) returned with a couple of scalps while R Ashwin (1-57) and Ravindra Jadeja (1-49) chipped in with wicket apiece.
