Indian cricket fans can go to any level to meet their stars and even if it means jumping the fence in cricket grounds and invading the playing field just to get a selfie from their favorite stars.
Something similar was attempted during the second Test between India and Australia which is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on February 17, 2023.
During the first day's clash in the national capital, a fan was spotted barging into the field. Before he could reach a cricketer, however, security officials caught him and began dragging him back.
As the security people were hauling the fan out of the field, Mohammad Shami near the boundary came close to the security and probably asked them to go easy on the youngster.

Earlier, Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and chose to bat first. The visitors brought in Travis Head for Matt Renshaw and Michael Kuhnemann made his Test debut. India made one change as Shreyas Iyer came into the XI, replacing Suryakumar Yadav.
Usman Khawaja made 81 runs while Peter Handscomb also made a fifty, and for India, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammad Shami picked three wickets apiece as Australia were 248/9 at the time of writing this piece.
