The 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions trophy winner has had a storied career so far and will be seen in action shortly in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series against Australia from February 9.

With the anticipation for the Border-Gavaskar trophy against Australia growing, Ashwin has been the central talking point among fans. Australian cricketers have gone to great lengths to prepare for him, including bringing in a spinner from Baroda, Mahesh Pithiya, who had an action similar to that of Ashwin.

Against Australia in 8 Tests at home, Ashwin has 50 wickets with five fifers to his name and he is obviously a threat to them. Ashwin, who made his Test debut in 2011 has played 88 Tests and taken 449 wickets. In 113 ODIs, he has 151 wickets and in 65 T20Is, the offie has picked 72 wickets.

The 36-year-old is known for possessing a lot of variations in his bowling armor and has even bowled leg spin sometimes. His variations are in full flow in T20 cricket and recently, Ashwin shared a photo of an edited bio of his.

"My morning coffee came with this and I wonder who has done this," he tweeted as he shared the picture of the bio. The bio claimed that Ashwin is not only a right-arm off-break bowler but also a right-arm leg-break bowler as well.

This tweet of his led to many fans and even his IPL franchise, the Rajasthan Royals reacting to the edited bio.
