R Ashwin is widely considered to be one of the all-time great off-spinners the game of cricket has seen. The 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions trophy winner has had a storied career so far and will be seen in action shortly in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series against Australia from February 9.
With the anticipation for the Border-Gavaskar trophy against Australia growing, Ashwin has been the central talking point among fans. Australian cricketers have gone to great lengths to prepare for him, including bringing in a spinner from Baroda, Mahesh Pithiya, who had an action similar to that of Ashwin.
