India and Australia are continuing their rivalry in the ODI cricket, as they clash in the third and final match of the series at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Australian captain Aaron Finch won the toss and chose to bat first. Though David Warner and Finch himself got out early, Steve Smith hit his 9th ODI century (131) and Marnus Labuschagne hit his maiden fifty (54), as the visitors reached 286/9 in 50 overs. Mohammad Shami picked 4/63, while Jadeja took 2/44 in his 10 overs.

When Labuschagne fell to Jadeja in the 32nd over, to a brilliant catch by Virat Kohli, everyone was in for a surprise as Mitchell Starc walked in at no.5 in order to up the ante and run rate a bit. He has some batting acumen with 10 half-centuries in Test matches, with the highest score of 99 and one fifty in ODIs as well.
But this proved to be too optimistic, as Starc walked back to the pavilion for a two-ball duck, caught by substitute Chahal, off Jadeja in the same over. Fox Cricket shared the update on their Twitter account, with the post-reading,” Australia's new No.5 is... Mitchell Starc ???? He's out for a two-ball duck”
Reacting to this post was none other than Starc’s better-half Alyssa Healy, the wicketkeeper-opener of Australian women’s team. She was obviously disappointed with her husband’s effort with the bat and the duck, that she could only react with a facepalm emoji
