Yashasvi Jaiswal, who dropped as many as four catches in India’s Headingley Test defeat against England, redeemed himself with a neat grab to dismiss Zak Crawley on Day 4 of the third Test at Lord’s.
Crawley, whose time-wasting tactics on Saturday evening left the visitors fuming, was dismissed by all-rounder Nitish Reddy in the first session, courtesy of Jaiswal’s sharp catch at gully.
Jaiswal’s redemption catch lifted the morale of his teammates and triggered a spirited celebration in the Indian camp.
While others rushed to congratulate the left-hander, Reddy was spotted giving an animated send-off to Crawley, who walked back to the pavilion after scoring 22 runs.

Coming to the Lord’s Test, India reduced England to 98/4 at Lunch on the penultimate day. Ben Duckett, Zak Crawley, Ollie Pope and Harry Brook lost their wickets in the first session.
While Mohammed Siraj dismissed Duckett and Pope, Reddy and Akash Deep got rid of Crawley and Brook respectively.
