Rohit Sharma's 100 not out and Hardik Pandya's all-round performance (4/38 & 33*) helped team India to clinch their first T20I series in England as they defeated the hosts by 7 wickets in the third and last T20I match at County Ground in Bristol.

After being asked to bat first, openers gave a flying start to England as they added 94 runs for the first wicket in just 8 overs but after Jason Roy's wicket India pulled things back and took wickets regularly and reduced English team to 198/9.

In the chase, India lost Dhawan early but Rohit Sharma's record third ton and cameos from Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli helped to chase down the target in the 19th over and won the series by 2-1. Rohit Sharma was named Man of the Match as well as Man of the Series.

- Hardik Pandya (4/38 & 33*) became the first Indian player to take 4 wickets and score 25 plus runs in the same T20I match.

2 - Rohit Sharma became the first Indian and overall second player after Colin Munro (NZ) to score 3 hundreds in T20I cricket. 

3 - England has lost all the three T20Is they played at County Ground in Bristol. 

5 - MS Dhoni (5 cts) became the second wicketkeeper to affect 5 dismissals in a T20I match after Mohammad Shahzad (3 ct & 2 st) against Oman at Abu Dhabi in 2015.

6 - India's 2-1 series win over England is their 6th consecutive series win in T20I format. And only Pakistan has won more consecutive T20I series win (9*) than India.

8 - Number of consecutive T20I innings for Virat Kohli without a 50 plus score - the longest streak for him without a fifty-plus score in T20Is.
