Arshdeep Singh has fancied himself as quite a batter for some time, despite left-arm pace being his primary skill. He has hit some huge sixes in first-class cricket and loves going bang-bang with the willow.
He is currently playing for North Zone against East Zone in the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2025 tournament. The match is being played at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground, Bengaluru, and North Zone had posted 405 runs while batting first.
Ayush Badoni made 63, and Kanhaiya Wadhawan made 76, while Nishant Sindhu and Auqib Nabi scored in the forties. However, the most entertaining knock came by Arshdeep Singh, who faced two deliveries and hit both of them for sixes, remaining 12* in 2 balls.
Arshdeep himself shared the videos of both sixes on his Instagram account with a caption reading, “Not bad for a no. 11.”
East Zone was bowled out for 230 runs, with Virat Singh top-scoring with 69, and Auqib Nabi taking 5/28, including four wickets in four consecutive balls.
