While Afghanistan star Rashid Khan is famous for troubling the batters with lethal leg-spin deliveries, he has often proved his worth with the bat as well.
On Saturday (January 29), Rashid once gave a glimpse of his batting skills as he scored 17 not out off just 4 balls while playing Lahore Qalandars against Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022.
His knock was studded with 1 four and 2 sixes, but it was his no-look six towards backward square leg against Shahnawaz Dahani that caught everyone’s attention.
Rashid produced that extraordinary stroke in the final over of the innings to take Lahore to a massive 206/5 in 20 overs.
Taking to Twitter, the official account of the PSL shared the video and wrote, “Don’t you love these @rashidkhan_19 sixes?”
Coming to the match, Multan Sultans overhauled the target with five wickets in hand and two balls to spare.
Chasing the massive target, Multan rode on Shan Masood’s 50-ball 83 and Mohammad Rizwan’s 42-ball 69 to get over the line.
