Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has found himself in controversy after a couple of videos were shared of him absolutely losing his cool from the match between his team Mohammedan Sporting Club and Abahani Limited in the ongoing Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League match.
In the video, Shakib Al Hasan is seen angrily kicking the stumps and then arguing with the umpire at the bowling end after his appeal was turned down.
Shakib can be seen appealing confidently for an LBW, with the wicketkeeper and other close-in-fielders joining him. However, when the umpire doesn’t relent, Shakib kicks the stumps with his left leg and then begins arguing with the umpire pointing towards the batsman.
Later other team members also come close to the umpire in a pressure tactic.
But this wasn’t the only incident from the match where Shakib Al Hasan, who captains the Mohammedan Sporting Club team, lost his cool with the umpire.
In another video shared on Twitter, Shakib is seen throwing another tantrum after some incident, as he aggressively approaches the umpire while arguing with him and uproots all the three stumps with his hands and throws them away.
These two incidents are not isolated ones, as Shakib has previously as well had an argument with umpires during domestic cricket matches in Bangladesh with a very popular clip being viral on YouTube.
