WATCH - "Never change, Smith", Steve Smith comes up with funny leaves in a Sheffield Shield match

Smith is famous for his unique batting mannerism which is often talked about.

Australia batsman Steve Smith has very different batting mannerisms from other batsmen. Apart from his unique technique, he is famous for his leaves and the funny gestures while batting.

Smith is currently playing for New South Wales in the Sheffield Shield 2020-21. He once again came up with the weird leaves during a match against Victoria.

The official Twitter account of cricket.com.au shared a compilation of his leaves during the innings. Smith, who lasted for only 35 deliveries, was dismissed by 20-year-old pacer Nick Larkin after scoring just 7 runs.

Australia's star batsman was seen practicing the shot after getting beaten and he also made gestures of the bounce off the pitch. 

Smith opens up his stance while leaving the ball and he did it numerous times during his innings against Victoria.

Before this match, Smith had played for New South Wales in Marsh Cup against the same opposition, Victoria. He scored 127 runs as his team won the match by 59 runs. The 31-year-old was named the Man of the Match.
