Scott Kuggeleijn (2/28), Roston Chase (2/8) picked up to wickets apiece and Mohammad Nabi (1/19) bowled a very economical spell.

In the second half, the Zouks had their target revised as per the DLS method to 47 in five overs, which they reached comfortably in 4.1 overs only through quickfire cameos from Rahkeem Cornwall (14), Andre Fletcher (16*) and Nabi (15).

Rashid Khan did pick up two wickets for the Tridents, becoming the youngest bowler to take 300 T20 wickets, but the control that the team needed from their ace wrist-spinner, he wasn't for once able to provide that. He went for 24 runs off his two overs.

Barbados Tridents 131/7 in 18.1 overs (Johnson Charles 35, Jason Holder 27; Scott Kuggeleijn 2/28) lost to St Lucia Zouks 50/3 in 4.1 overs (Andre Fletcher 16*, Mohammad Nabi 15; Rashid Khan 2/24) by seven wickets as per DLS method.

Sunil Narine | GettyIn Match 6 of the CPL 2020, Trinbago Knight Riders went past Jamaica Tallawahs by seven wickets.

Despite a fine half-century from Glenn Phillips (58), the Tallawahs could manage a total of only 135/8 in their allotted 20 overs, as the team's middle-order struggled to get the ball off the square, typified by the fact that Andre Russell of all people made a 26-ball 25.

The credit for that goes to the Knight Riders' bowling attack. Ali Khan (2/25), Jayden Seales (2/21) were among the wickets while Sunil Narine (1/19) kept a tight leash at run-scoring.

In the second half, however, Tallawahs' bowlers couldn't replicate the excellent work down by their counterparts.

Narine (53) once again smashed the ball to all corners and with Colin Munro (49*) providing able support, the Knight Riders reached home with as many as 11 deliveries left in the contest.

Fidel Edwards (1/19) and Mujeeb Ur Rahman (1/13) bowled restraint spells, but the Tallawahs needed more from the rest of the support cast to pose a serious challenge defending the 136-run target.

Jamaica Tallawahs 135/8 in 20 overs (Glenn Phillips 58, Andre Russell 25; Ali Khan 2/25) lost to Trinbago Knight Riders 136/3 in 18.1 overs (Sunil Narine 53, Colin Munro 49*; Mujeeb Ur Rahman 1/13) by seven wickets.
