Sport unites people and fans got to see a great example of it during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 match between Jamaica Tallawahs and St Lucia Zouks.
When Pakistan cricketer Asif Ali came for the post-match ceremony, his Tallawahs' teammate and Nepali cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane acted as his translator.
Asif smashed an unbeaten 47 off 27 deliveries which turned out to be a match-winning innings for his team. Jamaica was chasing 159 in 20 overs and lost four wickets on 84, that's when Asif took over and guided Tallawahs to win.

Ali was called for a presentation ceremony for his knock and he was picked as the Man of the Match. Asif had trouble with the English language, which is his second language, and that's where Sandeep stepped in and helped him, acting as his translator.
Fans loved the moment when Sandeep walked out for the post-match ceremony with Asif.
Sandeep was also instrumental in Jamaica's win. He bowled four overs and gave just 23 runs with a wicket in his tally.
