WATCH- MSC Maratha Royals and ARCS Andheri players come to blows in last stages of Mumbai T20 League final at Wankhede

MSC Maratha Royals defeated ARCS Andheri in the final of the Mumbai T20 League 2026.

Players from two sides almost got to blows | XMSC Maratha Royals and ARCS Andheri clashed in the final of the Mumbai T20 League 2026 on June 13, 2026. This game was played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and saw ARCS Andheri win the toss and choose to bowl first.

Royals were buoyed by 61 by Chinmay Suthar and captain Siddesh Lad’s 33 as the team made 154/5 in 20 overs, as Arjun Tendulkar picked two wickets for the Andheri team. In response, Divyaansh Saxena made 51, while Pragnesh Kanpillewar (28) and Gaurav Jathar (23) led the way in the chase. However, some brilliant bowling in the death by Tushar Deshpande and co kept Andheri to 146/8.

Maratha Royals won the Mumbai T20 League 2026 tournament. However, the finishing moments of the final provided high-voltage drama as players from both sides were seen in a heated confrontation.

When Gaurav Jathar hit Irfan Umair for a towering six to keep his team's hopes alive in the 19th over of ARCS Andheri's chase, drama broke out. On the subsequent delivery, though, Irfan caught Jathar lbw for 23 from 17 balls, instantly reversing the trend.  

Jathar seemed clearly irritated as the Royals celebrated the victory, and he confronted Rohan Raje, who was positioned at the boundary, as he made his way back to the bench. Before the umpire interfered, the two were on the verge of fighting. They were also restrained by the players on both sides, and the situation was under control.

Social media users soon started sharing videos of the incident, which captured the stressful moments that transpired during the contest's final rounds.
