JASPRIT BUMRAH (IND)
Jasprit Bumrah has been one of the most exciting new fast bowlers to make a splash on the international scene, ever since making his international debut for India against Australia in 2016. Since then he has picked 78 wickets in 44 ODIs with a best of 5/27 against Sri Lanka.
Bumrah has become India’s leading strike bowler and has forged an amazing new-ball and death overs partnership with Bhuvneshwar Kumar which has given the Indian cricket team fans hopes of an amazing performance from the team in the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales.
Bumrah’s ability to bowl pinpoint yorkers at will and variation in bowling puts him amongst the leading contenders for most wickets in the upcoming World Cup. He has proven his worth of bowling in England during the recent series in 2018, where he adapted to the conditions quickly and excelled wonderfully.
India has high hopes from Bumrah as he goes into the tournament as Indian team’s strike bowler and main weapon.
