India captain Rohit Sharma made a fan’s day after he finally signed an autograph for him after he waited 10 years for one. BCCI shared a video of the moment when the fan called out to Rohit Sharma and asked him to sign an autograph for him.
Rohit Sharma had missed the first BGT 2024 Test between India and Australia in Perth due to the birth of his second child, a boy. After spending time with his son and wife Ritika, Rohit joined the Indian camp in Perth mid-way through the first Test.
He was recently seen in action when he captained the Indian team against the PM XI in the pink-ball practice game in Canberra on December 1.
PM XI scored 240 after Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first. Sam Konstas (107) and Hanno Jacobs (61) were the main scorers, while Harshit Rana with 4/44 was the pick of Indian bowlers.
In response, India batted their full quota of 46 overs and scored 257/5. For India, Shubman Gill, returning from a thumb injury, scored 50, while Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Nitish Reddy, Washington Sundar, and Ravindra Jadeja had a good hit in the middle. Rohit Sharma couldn’t set the stage on fire and was out for 3 runs in 11 balls in the match.
