Amid India's domination over Australia in the first Test, skipper Rohit Sharma landed in Perth on Sunday (November 24) to get involved in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Rohit, who missed the series opener due to the birth of his second child, has had no practice whatsoever in Australia and the immediate challenge for him to be ready for the second Test, which will be played with a pink-ball in Adelaide from December 6.
A day after touching down the Australian shores, Rohit hit the ground running. A video of the Indian captain having a net session with the pink-ball went viral on social media.
In the clip, Rohit can be seen facing a fast bowler and playing an effortless pull shot against him.

Rohit Sharma has not had a lot of experience opening the batting in Tests in Australia. The Indian captain has opened in only two Tests Down Under, returning with scores of 26, 52, 44 and 7.
Overall, Rohit has played seven Tests on Australian soil, scoring 408 runs at an average of 31.38 with three half-centuries.
