India captain Rohit Sharma has arrived in Perth on Sunday and will join the Men in Blue squad who are engaged in the ongoing first Test against Australia at the Optus Stadium.
Rohit was unable to participate in the first Test since he was in India with his family to give birth to his second child. Rohit and his wife Ritika had a newborn boy on November 15. Rohit smiled as he dressed casually for his flight from Mumbai to Perth. He boarded a nice car from Perth Airport to join his colleagues.
Meanwhile, India's premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah leads the team in the Perth Test, as the visitors begin their Border-Gavaskar Trophy defence.

Meanwhile, after being bowled out for 150 in the first innings of the Perth Test and bowling out Australia for 104 runs, the Indian team has built hugely on their 46-run lead.
Yashasvi Jaiswal made 161 with 15 fours and 3 sixes, while KL Rahul made 77 with 5 fours. The duo added 201 runs for the first wicket. Since then, India has built a lead of over 400 runs and put Australia under pressure in their own backyard.
