Widely regarded as one of the fittest cricketers in the world, Virat Kohli is considered a supremely agile fielder in the outfield but when it comes to catching, he isn’t counted among the best.
On Saturday (December 24), the former India skipper’s catching once again came under the scanner as he dropped Bangladesh batter Litton Das three times in the slip cordon on Day 3 of the ongoing second Test in Dhaka.
Kohli dropped Litton twice off the bowling of Akshar Patel and once R Ashwin was at the receiving end of his error in the first slip.
The visitors eventually paid the price of Virat Kohli’s number of dropped chances as Litton Das went on to slam a half-century.
Before he was knocked over by Mohammed Siraj, Litton scored 73 in Bangladesh’s second innings, helping the hosts set a target of 145 for India.
