Indian team is gearing up for the first Test of the two-match series in Bangladesh in Chattogram which begins from December 14 onwards. India will look to do well in the series with crucial ICC World Test Championship 2023 points on the table.
India needs to win 5 out of their remaining six Tests to qualify for the final of the WTC 2023 and four of those Tests will be against Australia at home next year. This two-Test series is the best chance for India to win both matches and get points in their kitty.
One of the players who will eagerly look to play in Tests is Virat Kohli, who has roared back into form after a month-long break post the England tour.
He came back and hit a century in T20Is against Afghanistan in Asia Cup and most recently, scored a century in the third and final ODI against Bangladesh at this same venue.

Kohli’s last Test century came against Bangladesh itself in 2019 in November at home and he will be looking forward to breaking that drought as well.
Before the match, Kohli was seen practicing hard in the nets and it saw him hitting left-arm spinner Akshar Patel for a massive six, and then the duo laughed over it later.
