India head coach Ravi Shastri gave a special speech after his wards created history on Tuesday (January 19) by winning yet another Test series on Australian soil.

The visitors defeated Australia by 3 wickets in the fourth Test at the Gabba to clinch the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-1.
Team India had faced a lot of flak when they got bowled out for 36 during their 8-wicket loss in the first Test at the Adelaide Oval. Moreover, regular skipper Virat Kohli had returned home after the series opener to attend the birth of his first child while a number of players sustained injuries.
Despite the setbacks, the touring team under Ajinkya Rahane’s captaincy bounced back emphatically to register a series-levelling victory at the MCG while they pulled off a famous draw in the third Test at SCG by batting out 131 overs.
"Guys, the courage, resolve and spirit you have shown, it is unreal. Not for once, you were down. Injuries, 36 all out, you had the belief. It does not come overnight, it takes a period of time, now you have the self-belief. Just not India, the whole world will stand up and salute you today. Remember what you guys have done today, enjoy as much as you can. Everybody has been outstanding, it started in Melbourne, Sydney was fantastic and the honours were even coming into this Gabba Test," said Shastri while addressing the Indian team in a video posted on the official website of BCCI.
"Today was outstanding, Shubman great knock. Pujara, you will be known as the ultimate warrior. Rishabh, simply outstanding. When you were batting, you gave heart attacks to everyone. Ajinkya, the way you have controlled the things is simply outstanding. I would not like to forget three debutants, Nattu, Washi and Shardul. Guys enjoy this moment," he added.
Notably, Australia hadn’t lost a Test at the Gabba since 1988. The hosts were confident of being at the best in Brisbane, but little did they know this inexperienced Indian team, with half of their players ruled out due to injury, still had the courage and strength to fight back.
India were chasing 328 in the fourth innings. It took the tourists Shubman Gill's 91-run knock, followed by Cheteshwar Pujara's 211-ball 56 and Rishabh Pant's unbeaten 89 runs to get over the line.
