Shane Warne was hinting that the no-balls bowled by Natarajan could be fishy.

India's debutant T Natarajan was questioned by former Australia cricketer-turned-commentator Shane Warne over his no-balls. Natarajan had bowled six no-balls in the first innings and one on Day 4 during Australia's second innings at the Gabba.

Five of the no-balls bowled by Natarajan came on the first delivery of his overs. Warne made a shocking comment, hinting that the no-balls could also be a part of spot-fixing. “Just something interesting that’s caught my eye when Natarajan was bowling, he’s bowled seven no-balls in this match and they’ve all been big ones,” Warne said on Fox Cricket.

Warne felt those were big no-balls and he found it very odd. “And five of them have been off the first ball — and they’re miles over. I found that very odd. We’ve all bowled no-balls, but five of them off the first ball of an over, it’s just interesting.”

Twitterati were not happy with the comments from Warne. They reminded him of the 'John the bookmaker controversy' which involved Warne and Mark Waugh. Warne and Mark Waugh were given money by a bookmaker in return for pitch and weather information on Australia's tour of Sri Lanka in 1994-95.
