AUS v IND 2020-21: Cricket fraternity lauds Mohammed Siraj on claiming maiden 5-wicket haul in Test cricket

Siraj returned with the figures of 5 for 73 in Australia's second innings at the Gabba.

Siraj, who made his Test debut in the ongoing series at MCG, returned with the figures of 5 for 73 in 19.5 overs. Marnus Labuschagne (25), Steven Smith (55), Matthew Wade (0), Mitchell Starc (1) and Josh Hazlewood (9) were his victims.

Thanks to his herculean effort with the ball, India bowled out Australia for 294 in the second innings, which means the visitors have to chase 328 in the fourth innings to clinch the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

In the first innings of Brisbane Test, Siraj managed to take only one wicket while he claimed 5 and 2 scalps in Melbourne and Sydney respectively. Overall, the Hyderabad lad finished the Test series with 13 wickets to his name.

For his exploits with the ball in Brisbane, Mohammed Siraj garnered rich praises from the cricket fraternity on social media.
