India batsmen R Ashwin and Hanuma Vihari rattled the Australian cricketers with their non-stop defense and a fightback to save the third Test. Australia cricketer Matthew Wade was seen resorting to cheap tactics to get inside the head of the two batsmen.
During Nathan Lyon's over in the last session of day five, Wade tried to disturb Ashwin with his actions. He wasn't doing it for the first time. Earlier, in the same session, Wade had thrown the ball at Vihari twice despite the batsman staying well inside his crease.
Both, Ashwin and Vihari were unfazed by Wade's actions and they continued to focus on saving the Test match for India. In the end, the unbeaten partnership turned out to be fruitful for Team India.
While Ashwin faced 128 balls and scored 39* runs, an injured Vihari survived 161 delivery and scored 23* runs. The runs didn't matter as the team was only looking for a draw.
