India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah may have not been able to pick any wicket on the first day of the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), but he sure did his best to make his teammate Mohammed Siraj laugh.

Bumrah, who gave 30 runs in his 14 overs on day one of the SCG Test, was seen imitating Australian batting wizard Steve Smith on his follow-through. Smith had defended a ball back to the bowler and in the process was totally jolted and that’s what Bumrah copied.

This made Mohammed Siraj laugh out, which was heartening to see, as before the play began, Siraj was seen crying during the national anthem, as he remembered his late father.

Australia finished day 1 on 166/2 on the back of Will Pucovski’s 62, Marnus Labuschagne’s 67*, and Steve Smith’s 31*. Mohammed Siraj and Navdeep Saini were the wicket-takers for India.
