Australia batsman Steve Smith looked excited for the third Test against India at Sydney. Smith is out of touch in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and hasn't got a single double-digit score in four innings.
The 31-year-old has managed scores of 1, 1*, 0, and 8 in the first two Test matches. But it seems like he's dedicated to making a strong comeback in the Sydney Test.
A video of Smith was doing rounds on the eve of the third Test in which he was shadow practicing with full kit on. Funnily, it was not the nets but the hotel room where he tried to set the mood for the penultimate match.
The video was shared by Smith's wife Dani Willis who captioned, "Sometimes you've just got to shadow bat in full kit to get the feel. Like a kid on Christmas eve".
Australia would need their ace batsman Smith to come good in the third Test for a comeback after the defeat at Melbourne. Smith is currently number three in the ICC Test rankings for batsmen.
