The Queensland government has responded to the Indian cricket team's unwillingness to travel to Brisbane for the last Test because of a strict-bubble there.

The shadow minister for Health and Ambulance Services straightforwardly said the team can stay in Sydney if they don't want to enter the state because of the protocols. 

Team India wants the quarantine in Queensland to be eased out a bit. They have already undergone a mandatory 14-day quarantine period. A strict restriction further may affect their mental health and to avoid it they would prefer to play the third and fourth Test at the same venue, Sydney Cricket Ground.

“If the Indians don’t want to play by the rules, don’t come,” Brisbane's Health Shadow Minister Ros Bates said. 

Queensland’s Shadow Sports Minister, Tim Mander has agreed with Bates and said protocols can't be ignored and every individual should go through it. 

“If the Indian cricket team wants to spit the dummy and disregard quarantine guidelines in Brisbane for the fourth Test, then they shouldn’t come. The same rules must apply to everyone. Simple,” Mander said.

Australia opener Matthew Wade on Sunday said they would prefer to play at Brisbane after the reports emerged that India is doesn't want to travel to the Gabbar for the last Test.
