In the last delivery of the 55th over, a mix-up between Cameron Green and Paine saw the latter surviving a contentious run-out.

After having several looks, third umpire Paul Wilson adjudged it not out but legendary spinner Shane Warne felt the Australian skipper was lucky to survive as no part of his bat was behind the line.

“Very surprised that Tim Paine survived that run out review ! I had him on his bike & thought there was no part of his bat behind the line ! Should have been out in my opinion,” Warne tweeted.

Former India opener-turned-commentator Aakash Chopra also opined the same.

Taking to Twitter, Chopra wrote: “That was OUT. Jason Holder was right. If players can be in a bio-bubble for soooo long....let umpires should be doing the same.”

Luckily for India, Tim Paine couldn’t do much damage as he was dismissed by R Ashwin for 13 in the 63rd over.

At the end of 70th over, Australia had lost 8 wickets with 177 runs on the board. Ashwin (3-35), Jasprit Bumrah (3-40) and Mohammed Siraj (2-40) were among the wickets for the visitors.
