Australia are battling injuries ahead of the first Test against India, starting December 17 at the Adelaide Oval.
Amid the injury concerns, the home team received a massive boost some days back as pace spearhead Mitchell Starc joined the national camp and would be available for the series opener.

On Tuesday (December 15), Cricket Australia shared a video of Starc on Twitter, in which the left-arm pacer can be seen bowling at full throttle during a training session.
In his very first delivery to Marnus Labuschagne, Starc bowled a vicious bouncer, which the batsman had to take evasive action against.
Starc, who forms an intimidating trio in home conditions with Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, had missed the last two games of the T20I series versus India after being informed of an illness within the family.
In the ODI series, Starc struggled for line and length as he claimed only one wicket from two games by conceding 147 runs.
