The incident happened during the first T20I between India and New Zealand in Jaipur.
India pacer Mohammad Siraj had an average day with the ball against New Zealand in the first T20I on Wednesday (November 17). He conceded 39 runs in four overs and picked up only one wicket.
Apart from it, Siraj also got injured in the final over of New Zealand's innings on his follow-through. It was the first delivery of the over when Mitchell Santner tried to hit the ball as hard as he could.
It ended up hurting Siraj's finger and the team had to call for the physio. He soon resumed bowling after getting some treatment.
