Rohit Sharma was dismissed on 59 runs in the second innings of Headingley Test.
India opener Rohit Sharma once again played a crucial knock of 59 runs in the third Test against England on Friday (August 27). He looked good for a hundred before getting out Leg Before Wicket to Ollie Robinson in the 48th over of India's innings.
Rohit decided to take a DRS after being given out and it turned out to be the umpire's call against him. The ball was just touching the leg stump and the Indian cricket fans felt it was a poor decision by the umpire.
Even the India opener was not happy with the decision and fumed on his way back to the dressing room. Rohit's off-stump was visible and Robinson's delivery was angling into the batsman which initially looked like missing the leg stump.
Unfortunately, the 34-year-old couldn't convert another half-century into a hundred. He had scored 83 runs in the last Test at Lord's and missed out a ton there as well.
