Indian team started practice in Lord's ahead of the 2nd Test which begins on Aug 12.

It was good news for the Indian team as opener Mayank Agarwal was seen batting in the nets at the Lord’s ground ahead of the second Test match of the five-match series against England.

The right-handed opener suffered a concussion on the eve of the first game after getting hit on the helmet by a bouncer from Mohammed Siraj and was subsequently ruled out of India's playing XI. KL Rahul replaced him at the top and scored 84 and 26 runs in the match.

ESPNCricinfo shared a video on their Twitter account showing Mayank Agarwal getting some hits in the nets. He plays a couple of drives on the front foot from the typically high backlift. India would be happy to see him recovering.

Apart from this, the BCCI also took to Twitter and shared photos from Team India’s practice session at the Lord’s ground. The entire team along with captain Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and other players were seen practicing at the Mecca of the cricket.
