Pant had joined the team’s bubble last week after recovering from COVID-19.
Last week, the visitors played a three-day warm-up game against County Select XI and they returned to training for the Test rubber on Tuesday (July 27).
Taking to Twitter, BCCI shared pictures from the training session, in which Virat Kohli and company can be seen honing their batting skills.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who joined the team’s bubble last week after recovering from COVID-19, also featured in the photo while batting in the nets.
"#TeamIndia back at it and having a centre wicket training at Durham Cricket Club ahead of the five-match Test series against England," BCCI tweeted.
Apart from Pant, the likes of Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Rohit Sharma can be seen fine-tuning their batting skills in the nets.
India’s batting line-up had failed to make the mark in the warm-up fixture. Only Rahul (101 retired hurt in first innings) and Ravindra Jadeja (75 and 51) had registered notable scores for India.
