Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has established himself as one of the best spinners in the shortest format of the game. He has a range of variations in his armoury, which makes it tough for the batters to combat him.

Apart from his bowling exploits, Rashid has also impressed one and all with his batting talent. His batting has improved by leaps and bounds in the past couple of years.

Fans saw his batting heroics during the IPL 2022, where he helped Gujarat Titans (GT) to win some crucial matches in the death overs. His unorthodox strokes that sailed over the rope with minimal effort were labelled as 'snake' shots by the Afghanistan spinner.

Now, Rashid is gearing up to show his batting skills in the 2022 edition of the Asia Cup, slated to get underway on August 27 with the Afghanistan versus Sri Lanka clash.

Ahead of the tournament opener, Rashid uploaded a video on Twitter, where he can be seen smashing his trademark 'snake' shot in the nets.

"Game day all set and ready to go," he captioned the video along with emojis of Afghanistan and Sri Lanka flags.
