Kohli made a deliberate attempt to break the concentration of Latham.
During the third day’s play, Indian captain Virat Kohli was caught sledging New Zealand opener Tom Latham.
India lost 7 wickets for 71 runs on Day 3 to get bowled out for 217 in their first innings. Kyle Jamieson starred with the ball for the Kiwis, returning with the figures of 5 for 31 in his 22 overs.
In reply, New Zealand scored 101/2 at the close of play with skipper Kane Williamson (12) and veteran Ross Taylor (0) unbeaten at the crease.
At the start of BlackCaps’ innings, Kohli made a deliberate attempt in Jasprit Bumrah’s over to break the concentration of Latham, who came out to open the innings alongside Devon Conway.
“He got no idea Jas [Bumrah], You’re all over him buddy, You can make him up there as well, He knows he’s not getting it on the bat, boys,” stump mic caught the Indian skipper as saying.

On Monday (June 21), rain played spoilsport once more as the fourth day’s play got abandoned without a ball being bowled.
The ICC will now certainly have to use the allocated reserve day on June 23 to make up for the lost time.
India and New Zealand will be crowned joint winners in case of a draw or a tie.
