BCCI shared the clip of first day's play from Team India's intra-squad match.
Team India are playing an intra-squad match before the ICC World Test Championship final (WTC), which begins on June 18. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a short video featuring the Indian players from Day 1 of the match.
The likes of Jasprit Bumrah, R Ashwin, Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma can be seen in the video clip. "A good Day 1 at office for #TeamIndia at the intra-squad match simulation ahead of #WTC21 Final", wrote BCCI on Twitter.
The 23-year-old pacer from Gujarat, Arzan Nagwaswalla, was also spotted in the video. He has traveled with the team as a standby player. Along with him, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Prasidh Krishna, and Avesh Khan are also on the standby players list.
The WTC final is scheduled to begin on June 18 at The Ageas Bowl in Southampton. India's opponent for the final match, New Zealand, are currently playing two-match Test series against England.
New Zealand's captain Kane Williamson is currently unfit and he was ruled out of the second Test against England. His availability for the WTC final will depend on his fitness before the match.
