The new look India jersey for the T20 World Cup 2024 was unveiled by Adidas some days ago and received a lot of love from cricket fans. And now BCCI secretary Jay Shah and India captain Rohit Sharma presented the new T20I jersey of the Indian team in front of the media.

The new gear features tri-color stripes adorning a V-shaped neckline, with a blend of blue on the front and back, and saffron hues accentuating the sleeves. The jersey also displays the hallmark three stripes emblematic of sports apparel giant Adidas along with the BCCI logo.

India features in the 'Group A' of the upcoming tournament. Other teams in the group include arch-rivals Pakistan, alongside Ireland, Canada, and co-host USA.

India's first game will be played against Ireland on June 5 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. Up next, India will face Pakistan on June 9 in what is one of the most anticipated matches of the T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, on May 13, 2024, BCCI shared a video on social media in which India captain Rohit Sharma, BCCI secretary Jay Shah, along with an official from Adidas presented the new-look Indian team jersey in front of the media.
