Former Australia cricketer Shane Watson has huge admiration for Former India World Cup-winning captain MS Dhoni and star batter Virat Kohli. Watson had the opportunity to play under the leadership of both the Indian cricketers in IPL.

Watson was part of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) before joining Chennai Super Kings (CSK), where he bid adieu to all forms of cricket. The Aussie called Kohli a 'super human' and said that he knows when to push players around him.

"Virat as a leader has done incredible things, the way he has been able to push players, he has got such high expectation from himself and he brings that to every game he plays. For me, I believe Virat is a super human, he knows how to push players around him," he said.

The 40-year-old also feels that Kohli a very 'well-balanced character' off the field. "Virat is an incredible good guy, he is a well-balanced character off the field, knowledge he has is fascinating. It was a great experience for me to work with Virat at RCB," he added on the 'ICC Review'.

The ex-Australia cricketer has always had a lot of good things to say on Dhoni ever since he played under him in CSK. He lauded the CSK skipper and said, "MS Dhoni has got ice running through his veins, his ability to take pressure out of a team environment, he trusts his players, he makes sure everyone has faith in their abilities.

"He knows what works for himself and people around him. He trusts his instincts on the field, he trusts that players will do their research and do what is needed on the field."

Recently, Rohit Sharma took over India's captaincy in all three formats. After quitting the T20I captaincy, Kohli had stepped down as Test captain after the series against South Africa earlier this year.

Watson further spoke on Rohit's leadership ability, having watched him closely in the IPL tournaments, where he leads the most successful franchise, Mumbai Indians (MI). "He is such a natural and easy leader. I watched him closely leading the Mumbai Indians and nothing seems to faze him. He goes about his work incredibly well, he has had experience leading teams as well, captaining a franchise like Mumbai in high-pressure situations. There is always high expectation from Mumbai in the IPL," he said.

"I love watching Rohit bat, he is an elegant batter and he brings that to his captaincy," he added.
