Wriddhiman Saha had issued a clarification after posting screenshot of threatening messages by a 'respected' journalist.
Out-of-favor India wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha refused to name the journalist who threatened him after he declined an interview. Saha had posted a screenshot of the messages in which the journo was peeved by him for not picking up the call.
There was a huge outrage on social media against the journalist, and everyone wanted Saha to expose him. But the cricketer issued a clarification on Twitter and said he does not want to harm anyone's career by 'exposing' the name in the public.

Further in his tweet, Saha made it clear that he will not hold back if such an incident were to take place with him ever again. "My nature isn't such that I will harm anyone to the extent of ending someone's career. So on grounds of humanity looking at his/her family, I am not exposing the name for the time being," he had posted.
Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag reacted to the post and encouraged Saha to name the journo. He wrote that the Bengal cricketer should reveal the name to prevent a similar incident with someone else in the future.
"Dear Wriddhi, it's not your nature to harm others and you are a wonderful guy. But to prevent such harm from happening to anyone else in the future , it's important for you to name him. Gehri saans le, aur naam bol daal (Take deep breathe and reveal his name)," Sehwag said in his tweet.
Netizens had tried to guess the name of the journalist after the messages were leaked by Saha.
