Shoaib Akhtar, the former Pakistan cricketer, reacted to a viral photo of a Pakistan cricket fan holding a poster of Indian batter Virat Kohli during a Pakistan Super League (PSL 2022) game at the Gaddafi Stadium on Monday.

When he was spotted holding an image of Kohli with the words “I want to see your century in Pakistan #Peace” written on it, the fan's image went viral on social media.

In the meantime, Kohli has been rested from the T20I series against Sri Lanka, which begins on February 24.

He played in all three T20I matches against the West Indies, scoring a fluent half-century in the second game. However, the former India captain was released from the Kolkata bio-bubble after the selectors decided to rest him.

Sharing the image on his image of the fan on his Twitter handle, Akhtar reacted saying, "Someone spreading love at the #GaddafiStadium. #PSL7 #Pakistan #ViratKohli.”

In March, he'll return for a two-match Test series against Sri Lanka, in which he'll play his 100th match in the traditional format in Mohali. Kohli is yet to score a century in either of the international formats with his last ton coming in November 2019.
