IPL 2023: WATCH – Rohit Sharma at the receiving end of unfair decision as Samson seemingly dislodges bails with gloves

Rohit Sharma fell for just 3 while chasing RR's massive target of 213.

Mumbai Indians (MI) are currently facing Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 42 of IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium.

Opting to bat first, the Royals rode on opener Yashasvi Jaiswal’s whirlwind 124 off 62 balls to rack up a mammoth 212/7 on the board.

In reply, the hosts were looking for a fiery start but they lost skipper Rohit Sharma in the second over for just 3.

However, his dismissal triggered a controversy as it seemed that the MI captain was at the receiving end of an unfair decision.

While the bail lighted up and Rohit was given out bowled against Sandeep Sharma, some videos later emerged on social media which seemingly highlights that RR wicketkeeper Sanju Samson dislodged the bails with his gloves in the process of gathering the ball.

Notably, Rohit Sharma is enduring a tough time in the ongoing Indian Premier League season. Under his leadership, Mumbai Indians have won three out of their seven matches so far while he has managed to register only one half-century.
