IPL 2022: Mumbai Indians (MI) name Kumar Kartikeya Singh as replacement for Mohammad Arshad Khan

MI are yet to win a match in IPL 2022.

For the remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022), Mumbai Indians have signed left-arm spinner Kumar Kartikeya Singh as a substitute for injured Mohammad Arshad Khan.

Kumar Kartikeya Singh, who plays domestic cricket for Madhya Pradesh, has taken 35, 18, and 9 wickets in nine first-class matches, 19 List A games, and eight T20s, respectively. Singh was a member of the Mumbai Indians' support staff.

The Mumbai Indians have lost all of their eight games in IPL 2022 thus far and on April 30, will face the Rajasthan Royals at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai in their next match.

"The left-arm spinner will join Mumbai Indians for the price of Rs 20 lakh," the IPL stated in a media statement on Thursday.
