SRH have won just one match out of 7, while MI have won 4 out of 7.

The 31st match of the ongoing IPL 2021 will see Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) taking on Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The match will begin at 7.30 PM IST on May 4, 2021.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is having a nightmare of a tournament in IPL 2021 as they have lost 6 matches out of 7 played. They took a brave decision of removing their only IPL trophy-winning captain David Warner mid-tournament and naming Kane Williamson as the new skipper. However, they were still hammered by Rajasthan Royals in their previous match.

On the other hand, MI chased down a 219-run target thanks to an all-time great knock by Kieron Pollard and will come into this encounter against a down on luck SRH with immense confidence.

Keeping this in mind, Team COC presents to you the Predicted Playing XIs for the SRH v MI match in Delhi.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD (SRH)

SRH team are going through perhaps their worst Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament, as they have won just 1 game in seven matches and now have the task to face a raging Mumbai Indians (MI) team in Delhi.

Rajasthan Royals hammered them in their last encounter as Jos Buttler scored his maiden T20 century and SRH lost the match by 55 runs. They had benched their former captain David Warner, but the outcome remained the same.

As for the possible changes in their playing XI for the upcoming encounter against MI, SRH may have to find an alternate for all-rounder Vijay Shankar, who had done nothing of note this far in the tournament either with the bat or the ball.

SRH might bring in another all-rounder in Abhishek Sharma or a fast bowler since their quicks have been getting pasted in recent matches. Even Sandeep Sharma went for runs against RR and they have the option of bringing in Basil Thampi or Siddharth Kaul.

SRH needs to win against MI, or they might very well say goodbye to their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

MUMBAI INDIANS (MI)

MI got out of jail against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in their last match thanks to a blizzard by Kieron Pollard. However, this might not be the case in all games and hence MI team management might want to change some players.

Expect Nathan Coulter-Nile to come back in the team in place of Jimmy Neesham and possibly another spinner coming in for Dhawal Kulkarni, who was welcomed by being hammered by Ambati Rayudu in his first outing in IPL 2021.

MI are well on their way to playoffs with 4 wins in 7 matches and might feel they have a free match against SRH, who are down on their luck. But Rohit Sharma knows better and might not want to take any chances against Kane Williamson and his men and go at full strength on May 4 in Delhi.

SRH COC Predicted Playing XI:

Jonny Bairstow (WK), Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson (C), Kedar Jadhav, Mohammad Nabi, Abdul Samad, Abhishek Sharma, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed

MI COC Predicted Playing XI:

Quinton de Kock (WK), Rohit Sharma (C), Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Nathan Coulter-Nile,  Dhawal Kulkarni, Rahul Chahar, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah
